When Kate Middleton arrived at the Treehouse Hospice in Ipswich this week, we were enthralled bythe sight of her wearing the very same Reiss dress that her mother wore two years earlier at Ascot. So it’s no wonder we missed the string of Smartie-esque beads that were dangling from her dainty wrist. Yes, as Kate planted a tree in the grounds of the children’s hospice, a purple and orange bracelet joined together by four metallic round stones that read EACH popped out from under her cobalt blue sleeve – and you won’t BELIEVE who designed it.

It seems the DoC isn’t the only one who likes to keep things in the family as her bracelet comes courtesy of none other than Ed Sheeran’s mum. Oh yes, Imogen Sheeran is the mother of the Brit Award-winning music star who started making jewellery to sell at her son’s shows (check out www.edsheeranjewellery.com). Each one is lovingly handmade and Imogen has created quirky liqourice allsorts-esque jewels, worn by Jameela Jamil, as well as designs inspired by Ed’s lyrics. Sweet!

But there’s no greater coup than having the Duchess of Cambridge championing your creations. Oh, to have The Kate Effect on your side! Ed proudly took to his Twitter feed after to draw the world’s attention to his mum’s handy work. ‘Big up Kate Middleton, who is wearing some of my mums home made jewellery!’ he tweeted along with an image of the bracelet.

We can now reveal that Imogen created this fundraising bracelet on behalf of Each Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (hence the 'EACH') for which Kate is a royal patron (hence why she was planting a tree and giving her first speechat the organisation's new facility). The bracelet is available to buy here for just £10 and can be shipped anywhere in the world.
