On the latest stop on the royal tour around Scotland, Kate Middleton has worn a brand that is famously a favourite of her sister-in-law's, Meghan Markle. Arriving at her and her husband's alma mater, the University of St Andrews, Middleton wore a sleek pair of white leather trainers from sustainable brand, Veja.
The trainers - which are made in Brazil, and boast a long list of eco-friendly credentials such as an inner lining made from 100% recycled plastic bottles - are still available to buy for £85, and were perfect for the couple's rainy visit to take part in a tree planting ceremony.
Markle, who frequently champions sustainable brands with her wardrobe choices, last wore the brand's trainers on her tour to Australia in 2018. And while she chose to pair hers with black denim and a matching windbreaker to celebrate the Invictus Games, Middleton went slightly smarter, pairing her sneakers with a double-breasted (and gold-buttoned) blazer from Holland Cooper, a Breton-striped jumper by Erdem, and pearl hoop earrings from Freya Rose.
