The Duchess Of Cambridge’s Temperley London Dress Sells Out In Hours

The Duchess of Cambridge didn't make a public appearance for 76 days, but this week we have had THREE sightings of her bouncy blowdry. Last night Kate attended an Action on Addiction gala dinner at L’Anima Restaurant in London. By the looks of things K Middy did some online shopping while house-bound with morning sickness, as she has debuted three new looks this week.

Kate's wardrobe this year has been very conservative, with longer hemlines (on the Queen's orders) and sensible coat dresses. But last night she wore something a little more daring - a black knit cocktail dress by Temperley London with sheer delicate panels exposing a nude slip underneath. It features a slightly pleated skirt with a scooped back and long sleeves. This is an edgier choice for the Duchess of Cambridge and we LOVE it. More of this please K Middy.

The Duchess often re-wears her favourite frocks or wears pieces from a few seasons ago, but this £595 Emblem Flare Dress is current season. This is a popular dress of Kate's because it has sold out online in mere hours. The dress is no longer available on the Harrods website and as we type there is just one inXS available on Temperley's website.

Earlier this week the Duchess made her first appearance since announcing her pregnancy in August, wearing a grey check Alexander McQueen coat dress to the Horse Guards Parade. That evening she then put on a Jenny Packham gown to attend the black tie The Wildlife Photographer of The Year Awards Ceremony at the Natural History Museum.

The Duchess wore a new bespoke Jenny Packham gown in a pale jade crepe full length gown with a shorter underskirt falling on the thigh and draping at the waist (/bump). She paired it with Monica Vinader Riva Diamond Cluster Drop Earrings and a Riva Diamond Cluster necklace and a pair of nude peep-toe L K Bennett shoes with ribbons around the ankles.

Kate had to cancel a number of public engagements after her pregnancy was announced back in September, due to severe morning sickness - herhyperemesis gravidarum. She had not been seen in public since the announcement - her last official engagement before this week was on 5 August visiting the poppy exhibition at the Tower of London.

In a statement earlier this week Kensington Palace said that 'her condition is steadily improving.’ The Duchess is reported to have told the the President of Singapore, who is in London on a state visit, earlier today: "I've been looking forward to getting out of the house." It's good to have you (and the coat dresses) back Kate.
