Last night we got another look at the royal bump as the Duchess of Cambridge attended the Royal Variety Performance with Prince William. First things first, the Duchess wore a black lace Diane Von Furstenberg floor-sweeping gown with a fitted bodice, fluted hem and delicate lace sleeves. She paired it with her Kiki McDonough 'Lola' blue topaz circle earrings, black Jimmy Choo platforms and a sparkly black clutch. She had her hair pinned back into an elegant low chingon.
The Duke and Duchess met a number of performers including One Direction. Yes there was a Harry Styles x Kate Middleton hair-off picture. Harry, who wore a leopard print denim jacket, said of meeting Kate: 'I said congratulations on the bump,' and he said that she 'didn't look bumpy'.

The Daily Mail reports that Liam Payne said: 'It's the most nervous I think I've ever been in my life.' While Louis Tomlinson forgot to say ma'am: 'I said - Hi. How are you? I'm Louis.'
The McBusted boys spoke about their nerves about playing in front of the royal couple. James Bourne told Newsbeat: "I've definitely seen too many medieval royal things where an entertainer comes and performs in front of the king, and if he doesn't like them... off with their heads."
Harry Judd said: "The last time we performed there was lots of debate about whether we said ma'am (as in farm) or ma'am (as in ham). It would be cool if there was some kind of royal verdict at the end of each performance. So William stands up in the box like an X Factor judge putting his thumb up or down like a gladiator."

This is her second outing this week - on Wednesday she attended a SportsAid athlete workshop in Brentford, West London. She wore a plum-coloured shirt dress for the occasion, teamed with black boots. It's the Vreeland Dress by Goat - a light crepe fit and flare number with a collar and belted waist that suits Kate's demure style.
