Notorious wallflower Kanye West has somehow found the confidence to do a spot of public speaking.

Addressing the Oxford Guild Society at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History on Monday afternoon, Kanye discussed his regrets at not attending art college, telling the crowd that he would've wanted to become 'Picasso or greater'.

'My goal, if I was going to do art, fine art, would have been to become Picasso or greater', he said. 'That always sounds so funny to people, comparing yourself to someone who has done so much, and that's a mentality that suppresses humanity.'

He added, 'I approach creativity like a sport, if I have a drawing I react just like a jock: LOOK AT THE F**KINGDRAWING OVER THERE YEAH.'

Elsewhere, Kanye also touched upon his friendship with President Obama, who previously branded him a jackass. 'Obama calls the home phone, by the way', he humbly professed.

It's not the first time Kanye has voiced his modest ambitions. In a recent interview with Style.com he said he'd like to be the Steve Jobs at GAP. 'Perhaps this is a bit of a demo tape', he said. 'When I say Steve Jobs of the GAP, as I talk to the people at the GAP right now [leans into tape recorder], I’m not talking about a capsule. I’m talking about full Hedi Slimane creative control of the GAP is what I would like to do. And I can say this because it doesn’t conflict with my Adidas contract.'
