Exciting news for Jonathan Saunders arrived in our inboxes this morning as the London-based designer announced a partnership with his new business partner, Eisha Bharti Pasricha.
Also responsible for backing fellow LFW designer Roksanda’s new Mount Street store, Pasricha’s involvement in the British fashion industry is becoming ever more prevalent. Her fashion nouse is key, as Jonathan stated this morning that he and Pasricha share a joint vision and ambition for both the business and the brand.
A shared sentiment it seems, as she enthused about the pairing: “I am delighted to enter into a partnership with Jonathan Saunders and am excited at the proposition of working closely alongside one of Britain’s most talented designers. Jonathan brings with him passion, ambition and a creative flair that translates itself into easy, wearable pieces that every woman’s wardrobe must have”.
The Jonathan Saunders label continues to leap from strength to strength after an extraordinarily successful year in 2012 when he received the BFC fund, British Designer of the Year and the British Fashion Award in Emerging Talent- Menswear. This new investment will no doubt boost his fashion status further into the stratosphere, particularly as editors across the globe begin to prepare for fashion month. Saunders will stage his AW15 runway show during LFW at the Tate Britain, having shown on-schedule for the last 10 years.
