It was a whirlwind romance that saw them wed less than a year after meeting but Jodie Kidd has revealed that she had split from husband David Blakely after just four months of marriage.
That was quick.
In a statement model Jodie, 36, explained: ‘It's with sadness that David and I have separated. My priority remains my son Indio.’
Jodie and author David, 34, were speedy getting engaged just two months after meeting at a lunch organised by her cousing in November 2013. They wed in August 2014.
At the time of their nuptials Jodie gushed about the former solider and in a magazine interview she said: ‘As soon as David and I met, I went through a huge 360 in my mind and thought, "that's it”, we're going to spend the rest of our lives together.’
David echoed her sentiments and added: ‘I've never felt like this before. I knew it was different from the moment I met Jodie.’
Former supermodel Jodie has had her fair share of bad luck when it comes to relationships but she appears to be unable to resist a whirlwind romance.

Although Jodie will be coming to terms with the split from her second husband, the beauty – who has modelled for the likes of Chanel, Chloe and Yves Saint Laurent – is currently training for Channel 4’s The Jump which airs on Sunday.
Former show jumper Jodie was drafted into the line-up three weeks ago after Sally Bercow was forced to pull out due to injury.
