If you’ve already picked up the new issue of Graziayou may have noticed that Jennifer Aniston is this week's cover star. Why? Because of her shocking confession that she’s OBSESSED with cosmetic surgery. Yes, you’ll be pleased to hear that her world famous perfect hair, trim body and flawless skin are not all down to good genes and healthy living.
In a rare and astonishing interview with Conan O’Brien last week, the 43-year-old actress revealed the extreme lengths she goes to in order to keep her youthful looks. And it involves burning off the top layer of her skin with an expensive laser peel procedure costing around £1,000, which she has dubbed ‘laser porn.’ After which she goes into hiding for eight days. Yikes.
‘I became obsessed with laser porn. I did this thing called like, a peel,’ said Jennifer on Late Night with Conan O’Brien. ‘It’s extremely intense – you don’t realise you look like a battered burn victim for a week – and then it [the dead skin on your face] just kind of falls off.’ Upon further investigation, Grazia has learned the other costly lengths that Jennifer goes to to maintain her girl-next-door looks. And it isn’t cheap coming in at an eye-watering £100,000 a year… Read and weep.
SKIN = £1,353.95 A MONTH
As well as her recent laser peel Jennifer reportedly uses a £572 Euoko neck cream made with crystals from the planet Mars (yes really,) £1.99 Neutrogena Facial Cleansing Bar, Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream, £23.95, and Mila Moursi Rejuvinating Serum, £223. She also reportedly has regular Tracie Martyn Spa Red Carpet Facials. £286, from which she takes home a ‘famous purple bag’ of products, £249.
BODY = £2280 A MONTH
It’s handy for Jennifer that one of her best friends Mandy Ingber is also her personal trainer and yoga teacher. The pair apparently meet three times a week for £190 hourly sessions of cardio and yoga. ‘I feel like I am getting a meditation, a workout and time with my friend, all rolled into one hour,’ says Jennifer.
DIET = £1740 A MONTH
Jennifer works closely with dietician Carrie Wiatt who designs meal plans for her. A consultation with Carrie costs £190, and a week’s worth of her pre-made healthy meals from her Diet Designs delivery service is £245. So that’s £435 a week. Blimey.
