Instaglam: The Best Of Alexa Chung’s Summer Style On Instagram

Want to get Alexa Chung's summer style? Um, yes please. From the Breton top to the denim hot pant - Alexa may not have always done it first (hello Kate Moss) but she owned it. And continues to own it. Now, as much as we would like to wake up tomorrow looking EXACTLY like Alexa, (tousled hair and all) life is cruel and it aint going to happen (unless of course you actually ARE Alexa Chung, and then you probably won't need to read any further). And after her posting this summer dream today (see below), accessorised with super cute plait, we realised we could do with a gallery of inspiration. Summery inspiration. And here it is. It was so hard to pick a few that we have treated you to all of her most fabulous summer hits. And where better to look for said inspiration than straight from the woman herself, on Instagram?!

The Feminine Tomboy

Alexa combines a casual crumpled boyfriend shirt with cute feminine plaits and super cool Cutler and Gross pink sunglasses, all finished off with a slick of that bright red lipstick. The perfect done-undone, feminine-tomboy combination. And of course a bright, contrasting, colour block background finished off that perfect Instagram shot.

The Mis-matched Novelty Glass

Here, Alexa works a 'Sunday best' ditsy floral dress with mismatched iconic Vuitton clutch and nude face which all set off her ironic COOL sunglasses just perfectly. This deserves a huge thumbs up from us.

The LA Casual

We are loving the causal denim hot pant (sooo LA, dahling) combined with oversized boyfriend t-shirt, all of which are off-set rather nicely with her uber-feminine patent mini Mulbs bag. And of course an ironic peace sign signs makes for the perfect LA Instagram shot.

The Leopard Print Red Herring

And just when we thought we had Ms Chung's style down to a tee, she throws this sexy leopard print swimsuit into the mix. But look closer and you'll see the trademark Chungisms: the dishevelled hair and nude face cleverly play down the sexiness of the low cut leopard one-piece. Chuck in fellow super cool fashionista, Harley Viera Newton, in matching bikini with ironic thumbs up and yet again she's nailed it. Oh to be Alexa.
