Soho's been in the news a lot of late with many good folk up in arms at all the redevelopment plans and Crossrail that threatens to detroy the artistic, boho hub of London's most exciting part of town. But we at Graziadaily are pleased to report that there are still secret, exciting, fun and sexy places popping up like the brand new private members club, Lights of Soho.
Located underneath a fabulous new art gallery of the same name - currently showcasing 'City Lights' with stunning and provocative pieces from Tracey Emin and the late Chris Bracey, Lights of Soho is a boutique private members club with a difference. If the waiting list at the Groucho or membership at Soho House aint quite within your reach, this place - a former porn shop and brothel (natch) - is for YOU.
Membership is a mere £150 a year for your own little slice of Soho fun and hi jinx. And what's more, the guys at Lights are so keen to support the thriving creative industries that if you are bona fide penniless artist, writer, or creative type then membership will be free, which is pretty darn awesome. Whats MORE there is currently work underway for a full menu designed by Michelin-starred chef, Mark Hix and bespoke gin cocktails from Hoxton Gin. Yum, scrum and fun.
