As well as all the sporting action during the BBC Commonwealth Games, the female presenters have garnered a lot of Twitter love too thanks to their spot-on wardrobes. How have they managed to look so fresh amongst the heat and sweat? 'Plaits and buns were my saving grace on the really hot days,' Helen Skelton told us. 'I wore Sandro jeans every day and then lots of loose-fitting items from Topshop and Miss Selfridge for when it was really warm.' Here, Helen reveals a week in her wardrobe...

I have worn quite a bit of yellow during the Commonwealths. It’s such a fun colour for summer and always puts me in a good mood. I also decided to experiment with my hair and tried a fish tail plait which I loved. This pic was taken on the first day of presenting and the yellow top is from French Connection.

I am a huge fan of bold and fun prints and wore a leafy, tropical inspired dress here. It has been such great weather during the Commonwealth Games and this dress certainly reflects that! It was also lovely to have a catch up with Mel and reminisce about my time doing Celebrity Bake off.

I am a huge fan of bright colours and love everything Topshop and Miss Selfridge at the moment. I love this hot pink top from Miss Selfridge that I wore presenting and am a little bit in love with my two coin necklace from Sparkling Rings. It is so hot in the swimming centre so putting my hair in a topknot bun stops any frizz and keeps me cool!
