Good news for Gwyneth Platrow’s children Apple, 10, and Moses, 8 – in a new interview Gwyneth has said that she would like to take over her Goop website.
Sex dust, brain bark, $90 white t-shirts – soon all of this, and more, can be theirs!
During the interview, with Bloomberg Television, Gwyneth said: ‘I never wanted to do a proprietary brand. I wanted it to be its own thing that my children can run one day if they want to’
The problem is, there aren’t many people who share Gwyneth’s unique mind-set. We just can’t imagine anyone else recommending that we spend £3800 on a set of kitchen tools.
Speaking of which, Gwyn also addressed criticism that her site is out of touch with the average consumer. ‘I think there is sometimes a miscommunication,’ she said. ‘We aren’t a super-luxury site but we’re aspirational. We have things on there that cost $4. We have things on there that cost $500.’
‘I think sometimes that some of the criticism that Goop gets is because people haven't actually gone to the site and looked around to see what we actually are,’ she continued.
