‘Who Says I Don’t Approve?’ Gwyneth Paltrow On Jennifer Lawrence

Gwyneth Paltrow has spoken about Chris Martin's relationship with Jennifer Lawrence for the first time, onHoward Stern's SiriusXM radio show.

Gwynny was asked what she would do if she didn't like who Chris was dating, using Jennifer Lawrence as an example. She replied: ‘Who says I don’t approve? Why not? Why is it going to be an issue?’

She added: ‘I respect him as the father of my children. It’s his life and it’s his decision and I do think that he loves the kids so much, and I don’t think that he would be with someone that wasn’t great. And if I’m wrong, I’ll come back here and I’ll tell you.’

How would she feel if he dated Rihanna? "She's cool." Or Lindsay Lohan? ‘There’s redemption, people get their acts together,’ she said.

When asked how consciously uncoupling works Gwyneth said: 'It's a very noble idea... it is kind of a goofy term." She added: "You say, “I really want to find my love for you, and I want to forgive you and I want you to forgive me, and let’s have some fun as a family.” Because you know, he’s going to be in my life for the rest of my life.’

Gwyneth also talked about her relationship with Brad Pitt. She said: "I definitely fell in love with him. He was so gorgeous and sweet. I mean, he was Brad Pitt. I was such a kid, I was 22 when we met. It's taken me until 40 to get my head out of my ass."

She added: "You can't make that decision when you're 22 years old... I wasn't ready, and he was too good for me. I didn't know what I was doing."

While on the subject of Gwyneth. She appeared on Jimmy Fallon, where she sang Drake's 'Started From The Bottom' and Nicki Minaj's 'Anaconda' in a Broadway style. Trust us, it's worth a watch...
