If you tend to scroll quickly on Instagram, you might have seen blurs of green on your travels. Not just any green, but a specific shade of green that sits somewhere on the spectrum between apple and lime. A little bit Kermit, a little bit Spotify, but mostly Ganni. Because it's the brand's blazer that is causing such a stir.
Hailey Bieber wore it on November 10 - styling it with the most mini of miniskirts so that it almost looked like a blazer dress. Since then, I've spotted that specific jacket on several other influencers. Blanca Miro wore hers with a swishing black skirt, sheer tights and slingback loafers, captioning her photo with a green parrot emoji (sorry Kermit). When Annabel Rosendahl posted about hers, she commented: 'My all-time favourite color.'
Ganni's not the only brand, however, that has cottoned onto the power of green. Tamu McPherson has another one up her sleeve, a single-breasted style in a traffic light shade of green from The Attico. Kate Middleton's favourite green tailoring is from Zara, who has several emerald blazers that it's struggling to keep in stock.
What is it about green? It's one of the most calming shades of the colour wheel - great in the run-up to Christmas - and also seems to say 'go', doesn't it?
As well as Ganni's, there are plenty more blazers (and coats) that look suitably optimistic. Mango's is more olive than electric, which might suit more muted tastes, while Arket's, which is part of a just-launched collaboration with artist Pia Wallén, is the exact shade of zest you're looking for. Go for it.
