As well as Gisele Bunchen's catwalk return and a Seventies-esque collection, it was the finale's feminist march which got the fash pack buzzing. Cara Delevingne lead the parade with a quilted megaphone as Karl's model crusade stormed down 'Boulevard Chanel' holding protest signs with slogans like, 'History Is Her Story', 'Be Your Own Stylist,' and 'Ladies First'. It was hard not to feel empowered.

'I love that revolutionary spirit which seems to be trickling into our consciousness,' Alexa Chung told us from the front row. 'It's a no brainer than every woman is a feminist and men should be too.' Meanwhile, Alice Dellal was more than eager to join the protest. 'I love a riot so it's brilliant to see it in a fashion show at the Grand Palais,' she said. And she's not wrong - it was an incredible spectacle that held even more relevance following Emma Watson's moving HeForShe gender equality speech.
