This Wednesday, Kensington Palace will be host to the ‘Georgian Fashion Remix’ catwalk show featuring the work of British designer Giles Deacon.
The show is part of a season of events taking place to mark the 300-year anniversary of George I's accession to the British throne and will explore the lavish era that surrounded the Hanoverian reign.
Alongside renowned milliner, Stephen Jones, the show will feature several of *Deacon’s *pieces from his collections that have drawn inspiration from 18th century style.
Deacon said, “I am thrilled to have this opportunity to show a retrospective of my designs which have been inspired by many aspects of the Georgian era.”
Held in the Orangery at Kensington Palace the evening is set to be a glamorous one! The best part? You can join in the decadence and fun, as the event is open to the public.
You can purchase tickets here (quick before they sell out!) and have a tipple with us, Georgian style.
