Gigi Hadid Is Now Modelling For Victoria Secret – And It Makes Perfect Sense

Earning your Angel wings is no mean feat - just look at the hoard of Amazonian-like women who stormed the Victoria's Secret catwalk show in London earlier this month. So hats off to Gigi Hadid who's just revealed she's working with the glitzy lingerie brand. Congrats, missy!

Admittedly, Gigi is starring in the brand's Pink campaign so she's not hitting the runway in a set of bejewelled knickers just yet, BUT we think it makes perfect sense for her to permanently join the Angel ranks. Here's why...

1. She looks like this in her undies

And we certainly don't.

2. She has excellent hair

To be a VS Angel, it's essential to have full, bouncy, long hair and Gigi's mane fits the bill.

3. She's a bonafide gym bunny

Angels are expected to work out FOUR HOURS a day, seven days a week. Luckily, Gigi is right at home amongst the running machines.

4. She's got an army of model pals

It should at least look like you're besties with your fellow Angels, so it's handy that Gigi has secured a gaggle of models mates to enjoy slumber parties with. Just this month, she was larking about with Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner at Disney Land.

5. She's not adverse to a little pampering

Rumour has it, you need "three-hour oxygen facials, multiple trips to the spray tanner and waxer, and a signature scent" in order to be an Angel. Handily, Gigi's in-spa selfies show us she's very up for some 'me time'.

6. Hello winning smile!

At Angel School (yes, there really is such a thing), models are taught how to smile properly for the photographers. Thanks to this set of pearly white, we're sure Gigi would pass with flying colours.

7. She has a zillion followers

Take a look at her Instagram feed and you'll see Gigi is excellent at social media'ing. She also has 173,000 followers on Twitter, which certainly helps a burgeoning model career. (Just ask Kendall).

8. She's perfected the catwalk strut

Gigi oozed confidence when she walked for the likes of Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford and Chanel. That Karlie prowl is only a wiggle away...

9. She knows how to work a killer pair of heels

An Angel is always expected to be camera-ready. This means full hair, make-up, and the ability to walk in a serious set of heels.

10. But she can be goofy too

Angels are there to brighten up our day, whether that's with a pair of fancy pants or their silly (yet utterly gorgeous) faces.

11. She's mastered the inspirational quote

It's important for Angels to be role models and Gigi has already proved her caring credentials by sharing Oprah-fied quotes such as this one. Girl power!

12. She gives good #throwback

Those Angels know how to amp up the charm inbetween posing in their pants - and one sure fire way to do it is with flashback photos of when they were kids. Gigi has more than risen to the challenge with this chubby-cheeked snap, complete with *Toy Story *costume. Dawww!

13. Her boyfriend is a teen dream

First Leo Mania swept the Angel camp, then Justin Bieber got involved before Cara Delevingne and honorary Angel Taylor Swift provided the Harry Styles connection. Handily, Gigi already has a pop phenom on her arm in the shape of Cody Simpson. Is this the new golden couple?

14. And most importantly, she's nailed that 'Blowing Kisses' pose

It's a signature move for Candice et al. You simply can't be an Angel without it.
