by Grazia |

If you fancy a six-hour dance sesh with the likes of Claudia Winkleman, burning 3,000 calories and raising money for a good cause then you are in luck. Because the first Comic Relief Danceathon is coming to Wembley Arena this Sunday March 8th from 12pm til 6pm – and you are invited.

Over 2,000 people will be sponsored to keep dancing for six hours, alongside 30 celebrities like Davina McCall and Zoe Ball. There will be a different Dance instructor every 30 minutes, demonstrating 12 different styles including 60's jive, 70's disco, 80's anthems, 90's rave, west end musicals, diva, soul, bollywood, reggae, Michael Jackson moves – the works.

To take part, dancers are asked to set up an online Red Nose Day Giving Page and raise a minimum of £150 in sponsorship, which will go towards helping people struggling in the UK and across Africa.

And if you can’t make it down to Wembley, you can dance along at home using the BBC Red Button – or even organise your own sponsored event at home. For more info click here.

See you there!
