If you fancy a six-hour dance sesh with the likes of Claudia Winkleman, burning 3,000 calories and raising money for a good cause then you are in luck. Because the first Comic Relief Danceathon is coming to Wembley Arena this Sunday March 8th from 12pm til 6pm – and you are invited.
Over 2,000 people will be sponsored to keep dancing for six hours, alongside 30 celebrities like Davina McCall and Zoe Ball. There will be a different Dance instructor every 30 minutes, demonstrating 12 different styles including 60's jive, 70's disco, 80's anthems, 90's rave, west end musicals, diva, soul, bollywood, reggae, Michael Jackson moves – the works.
To take part, dancers are asked to set up an online Red Nose Day Giving Pageand raise a minimum of £150 in sponsorship, which will go towards helping people struggling in the UK and across Africa.
