Put your best foot forward for the new season and take a tip from the street style stars of this fashion month. The shoe du jour? The flat... but there are oh-so-many options to try. Try pretty points or mannish brogues, wacky sneakers or clean classics but whatever you do, stay low. Our gallery above will inspire you to ditch your heels and for a little extra help, we've broken down the top looks for you...
1. Pretty Points
The pretty party flat was a firm a fave at the Spring Summer 2015 shows. The perfect pair have a multi-straps, making them an ultra sexy take on a prim shoe. Whilst totally elegant, they're comfy too! Divine, non?

2. Classic Sneaks*
Clean white lace-ups are a perennial fave and they're going nowhere we're glad to see. A simple print or pop of colour makes them feel extra expensive - just make sure they're box fresh.

3. Deluxe Sandals*
Sparkles, jewels and metal all make the summer's favourite chunky sandal feel *extra *special. Marni have a whole collection of magpie peep-toes.

4. Mannish Shoes, With An Edge*
Brogues, monk-straps and penny loafers have been lending a cool edge to ensembles for seasons. They've taken a luxe turn at the shows this time - choose luxe finishes, oversized straps and hardwear or attached your favourite pearl earrings to make them

*5. Turbo Trainers
If you're not in the classic sneaks camp (see point 2) you might like to try some seriously sartorial sneakers instead. Chanel, Valentino and Dior have all done them, so we know they're perfectly acceptable for fashion week. Dior's embellished designs (bottom right) sold out almost instantly in just about every colour and many an editor is on the wait-list for the new colour ways, so be sure that they'll be in next season too. Go uber high-end with some leopard Valentinos here, or for real runarounds, head to Zara for these perky pinks.
