This evening The Duchess of Cambridge, who is four months pregnant with her second child, welcomed guests to her home at Kensington Palace for the mental health charity Place2Be's first ever Wellbeing in Schools Awards.
The Duchess mixed up black and navy, wearing a Hobbs Invitation Emilia black top with a corset bodice and sheer polka dot underlay and sleeves. The top is a purse friendly £89 - but before you race off to your nearest Hobbs it is already sold out.
Kate paired it with a midnight blue silk skirt to the knee from Jenny Packham's Autumn Winter 2013 collection. She tied both separates together with a black belt with gold clasp. Speaking of accessories, she wore her favoruite Cassandra Goad Temple of Heaven earrings and some classic black court shoes.

The Duchess became a patron of the Place2Be charity in April 2013 and has visited numerous schools in this role. Kate met all of the 20 finalists and presented Bailey Dunne, 11, with the Child Champion Award.
Kate wrote a forword in the programme for the awards which reads: 'The commitment, dedication and hard work that is going in across the schools involved with Place2Be is truly humbling, and to recognise that feels incredibly important.'
