Looking for an easy Halloween costume but want to be a little more original than whiskers drawn in eyeliner? Well this Halloween why not express yourself like you do every day... in emojis. We have a feeling that this is going to be this year's Miley Cyrus costume, and luckily several of the emojis can be nailed for under a fiver. We've put together a guide for how to dress as five of your favourite emojis from the dancing girls to heart eye cat emojis...
1. Cat heart eye
Lolita sunglasses, £10, Yellow face paint,£3.49, Headband, £3.99, Rimmel eye pencil, £2.99
This is 2014's answer to the black cat. The red heart sunglasses update this classic Halloween costume. Face paint is optional.
2. Dancing girls
Twist scarf, £15, Leotard, £17, and Mary Jane pumps, £78: All American Apparel
To transform into the dancing girl emoji you'll need to a) grab a friend b) go on an American Apparel spree. This is for those with core strength - to pull this off you'll have to spend most of the evening on one leg.
3. Pink jumper girl
Uniqlo jumper: £19.90
This is the sassiest of all the emojis. Simply wear a pink jumper and hold out your hand. All night. If you get bored of the costume throughout the evening you can change hand gestures. Use it as a good excuse to demand head massages.
4. Salsa girl
Put on a LRD, some lippie, and there you have it... you're the salsa emoji.
5. Grapes
We haven't come up with an easy way to dress as an aubergine, so have settled on grapes from the fruit and veg emoji family. Simply cover yourself in purple balloons. Remember balloons POP so just like actual grapes, this is a very perishable option - bring back up balloons.
