Dolce & Gabbana Kick Off Party Season With Super-Chic Christmas Tree At Claridge’s Hotel

We know, we know it's* only* November, but that isn't going to stop us from getting into the festive spirit. Dolce and Gabbana kicked off party season last night with the grand reveal of their Christmas tree at Claridge's Hotel.

This party was a fabulous advert for the LRD (little red dress) as Daisy Lowe, Anna Kendrick and Kylie Minogue showed us how we want to dress for the entire of December: head to toe in red lace Dolce and Gabbana.

Seeing as we're currently working on our own Christmas lists, we had to ask what these ladies would like at the bottom of their trees this year. Although her family has already started writing (or should we say emailing) their lists, Anna Kendrick hasn't finalised her wish list. She told Grazia Daily: "I don't know. Hourglass makeup brushes. A nice safari to Kenya?! Some nice glasses I still have my Ikea glasses from 10 years ago so when I pour people wine I look just like a college student."

Daisy Lowe looked gorgeous in a red fitted Dolce strapless dress with lace on the skirt. Daisy told us : "I really want some awesome speakers I can easily take on shoots with me. I wrote a list, I'd like some lovely plates from Liberty's."

Presents covered, let's talk about thatcracker of a tree. The 8-metre high tree is covered in 300 hand-painted glass baubles, covered in many different flags. The Dolce boys said of their design: “Christmas is the happiest time of the year for children and we want to celebrate it with a tree that brings together all the different cultures from around the world. We thought of an enchanted forest where the real meets the unreal, just as it does the night before Christmas. It is a very special tradition because it helps spread our love for Italian craftsmanship around the world. It is our second year creating the tree at Claridge's, a symbol of London that holds a special place in our hearts”.
