*SAD FACE* We Remember Lara Stone And David Walliams’ Love Story

Today it has been reported that David Walliams and Lara Stone have called time on their relationship after five years of marriage. According to The Sun the couple, who have a 21-month-old son together, have agreed to go on a trial separation. We revisit their relationship history below...

- They started dating in 2009...

Lara and David first met at a Chelsea football match in 2009. Lara joked in an interview that she didn't make the first move, but that "he stalked me." When asked if it was love at first sight, she joked: "To him it was!"

- Not long after, they announced their engagement...

David Walliams proposed to Lara with a £100,000 vintage Tiffany ring while on a trip in Los Angeles in January 2010.

- They got married at Claridges a few months later...

Four months after their engagement, the couple got married at Claridge's Hotel in London. They tied the knot in front of Vernon Kay, Geri Halliwell, his best ma Matt Lucas, Natalie Imbruglia and more. Actor David Bradley said in his speech: 'Lara, please look after David, we all know what a shy and retiring man he is!' Guests then went to an after party at Shoreditch House where Lara wore a gold mini dress.

- Lara announced her first pregnancy in December 2012...

The couple announced they were expecting their first child in December 2012. David said of expecting his first child: “I’m really looking forward to being a dad, the whole experience. I’m looking forward to seeing the baby for the first time, seeing this little person who’s a mixture of you and the person you really love. But hopefully it will look like Lara and not Simon Cowell.”

- Lara and David welcomed baby Alfred in May 2013

Lara said to The Edit about Alfred: "On his birthday, I cried the whole day. When they're born and just a helpless little blob laid on your chest, they're so vulnerable and little. And now he's this huge monster – in the loveliest way." She added: "He's very strong-minded and he knows exactly what he wants to do, and if it's not right he'll have a huge tantrum. He's completely hilarious – this little boy, stamping his little foot." Lara returned to her modelling work four months after the birth of Alfred.

Lara and David's border terrier is a regular feature on Lara's Instagram page and has even appeared in the pages of Vogue, starring in Lara's Netherlands edition cover shoot.

The couple were last seen together in December of last year. They attended Elton John and David Furnish's wedding together on 21 December 2014.
