Dannii Minogue Opens Up About Leaving Project D, A Middleton FavouriteDannii Minogue and Tabitha Somerset soared to great fashion heights with their label Project D, dressing both Pippa AND Kate in their pretty, flirty frocks. But now Dannii has opened up to the MailOnline about leaving the fashion label. Is that the sound of a Middleton teardrop we hear?

Dannii said: 'In March 2010 I teamed up with Tabitha Somerset Webb to launch the fashion label Project D. Over the past three years we have launched a clothing line, a fragrance and a watch collection. I have now decided to step down from the brand and will no longer be associated with Project D London moving forward.'

So what is she moving onto? Well Dannii added: 'I have loved being a part of PDL and am proud of what we have achieved. I wish Tabitha all the best with her business and would like to thank every person who supported us in this project. I'm currently enjoying being a part of Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model, and am looking forward to The X Factor Australia starting soon.'

So let's take a quick Project D refresher shall we? Their DNA is summer flirty dresses, with plenty of frills n' florals. Oh and peplums, they really like peplums. Project D designed the floral belted dress that Kate Middleton wore to travel home in from her Asia tour. Speaking of the Middletons, they also are created the blue peplum bird print dress that Pippa wore to watch Murray in Wimbledon last year.

The news won't come as a huge surprise as back in May a spokesman confirmed Dannii had split from business partner Tabitha Somerset-Webb, with the Spring 2013 line being their last ever collection. At the time Tabitha Somerset-Webb told Drapers the label is 'not moving forward,' while a rep for Dannii Minogue said 'However, Dannii still has big plans to be involved in the fashion and style industry, and is considering a number of options for the Project D brand moving forward.'
