Dakota Johnson's Fashion Evolution
Born in Austin, Texas and daughter to Golden Globe-winning actor Don Johnson and Academy Award-nominated actress Melanie Griffith, you could say that a lot was expected from a young Dakota Johnson… and she didn’t disappoint!
Having already shot for teen vogue at the age of 12, Dakota saw light in a modelling career, doing shoots for MANGO brand's jeans line and also travelling to Sydney, Australia where she shot the "Rising Star" campaign for fashion label "Wish".
However, Dakota’s true ambition was to act, appearing in films such as Beastly and The Social Network where she got to film a scene with Justin Timberlake (aka every women’s dream).
Her rising career has also recently grabbed her the role in the film everyone is talking about: Fifty Shades Of Grey, which will be released February 13 2015. With all this publicity, Dakota is in the midst of the public eye and her chic stylish look hasn’t escaped our attention!
Whilst attending the seventh annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Liberty State Park she flaunted a Diane von Furstenburg Spring 2014 square-neck diamond-print dress with a lace up detail, accompanied by a straw boater hat and a pair of black and white Jimmy Choo flats.
Her fashion evolution didn’t end there however, with the actress forever sporting floral summer dresses styled with a cute pair of flats that shows off her hippie chic style. Even at the airport Dakota looks on point, appearing in all black and looking fierce but casual in a leather jacket, jeans and boots, with her chic style still evident in her ladylike bowler hat.
