Season two of The Traitors is gripping the nation. While we're fully immersed in the drama (no spoilers here), Claudia Winkleman's wardrobe has also provided sheer brilliance, as it essentially looks like a country walk curated by a slightly deranged Nancy Meyers under the influence of Princess Anne. If both of them also watched Drag Race.

Amidst the swishing of capes and tartan kilts, however, is one item that has emerged as a surprise hit. By 10am on the morning after the first episode aired, several members of the Grazia team had sent me messages asking to know where said item was from. And one cursory glance at that social media platform we're all still calling Twitter confirms that Winkleman's red fingerless leather gloves are indeed driving people to distraction.

Winkleman's stylist, Sinead McKeefry, confirmed on Instagram that the gloves are from Amazon – and this pair looks identical to the style worn by Winkleman in the new series.

It helps that Winkleman's own spirit is infused with just the right amount of camp humour to revel in the idea of such a pair of gloves and, because of that, she really carries them off. Perhaps it's also because they're so surprising.

Even more surprising is the fact that they're £25 and from Amazon, of all places. Winkleman's stylist, Sinead McKeefry, has been documenting the series two looks on Instagram, leading to an influx of comments from fans demanding to know where specific pieces can be found. McKeefry confirmed that the gloves are from Amazon, so I hunted them down in order to let us all live out our own Traitors dream; just ask your friends to play Werewolves and pop on your red leather numbers.

Interestingly, Winkleman seems to be a fan of a fingerless glove, with many pairs of wrist warmers included in her Traitors wardrobe. McKeefry said that they're a mix of Brora and Johnston's of Elgin, both purveyors of the finest Scottish cashmere.

So, if the red leather style isn't quite doing it for you then shop Winkleman's cashmere styles below instead. And then ask yourself what your problem is if you don't want to wear a pair of red leather fingerless gloves. Kidding, I would never say that – I'm a faithful. Or am I?
