As with every big girl band the rumours of internal feuds and dramas circulate like wildfire. Girls Aloud is no different and they’ve often been asked to debunk rumours of splits, fights and favouritism but have managed to swerve any major confessions. Well, up until this week that is…
In a recent interview with Attitude Magazine Cheryl Fernandez-Versini was asked to respond to fellow band mate Nadine Coyle’s declaration that she had nothing to do with the Girls Aloud split. Last year Nadine tweeted:
The X Factor judge dismissed Nadine’s claim and said “She’s full of st. What do you want us to say? She’s full of st. She was the one who wanted to make a solo record. Which is why we took the hiatus.”
Yikes. Looks like it’s not just Chezza who was put out by Nadine’s words, as she actually appears to be speaking on behalf of the other members.

Yikes. Looks like it’s not just Chezza who was put out by Nadine’s words, as she actually appears to be speaking on behalf of the other members.
“She wants to come out and say we broke the band up? No! She shouldn’t tell porkie pies. She should remember why we took the hiatus after seven years”
Cheryl didn’t hold back and went on to reveal that Nadine actually held the other members of the world’s biggest selling girl band to ransom.
“Okay, so do you want us to tell the truth? She wasn’t going to make another Girls Aloud record until she got a solo deal. I feel she held us to ransom and then made her solo record deal.
“It’s the truth. She’s saying that we broke the band up. So there you go.”
Obviously, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard rumours of tension between Cheryl and Nadine especially after Nadine's solo attempt 'Insatiable' bombed in comparison to Chezza’s ever growing success.
Our favourite Geordie’s matter of fact response would appear to be very timely given the title and subject matter of her new single which sums her attitude up nicely.
