Sienna Miller, Lupita Nyong’o And Other Stars Arrive For Cannes

On the eve of the kick-off to one of the 68th Cannes Film Fesitval, stars have begun touching down at Nice airport ready for a two week frock-off.

Sienna Miller, Karlie Kloss, Charlize Theron, Julianne Moore, Liya Kebede and Sophie Marceau have all been spotted exiting Nice Airport in their comfiest clobber. We are expecting far less casual outfits come tomorrow as the planet's chicest celebration of film (sorry Oscars) gets underway. Brace yourselves for a daily dose of floor-length wonders from May 13 to May 24.

Other big names expected to touch down in the Riviera include Rooney Mara, Naomi Watts and Cate Blanchett. Marion Cotillard and Dakota Fanning are already in town having flexed their couture muscles at yesterday's Dior Resort 2016 held nearby.

While the prospect of a seriously *haute *fashion fix has us on the edge of our seats, this year's Cannes is doubly exciting for the leading ladies. Emmanuelle Bercot will be the first female director to open the festival in 28 years, while Natalie Portman's first behind-the-camera endeavour gets a special screening.

With 11 days of red carpet action ahead of us, we are sure hoping Cannes attendees make like the Met and defy the selfie ban!
