It's been almost 24 hours and our minds are still blown by the Chanel superstore Karl Lagerfeld created for his Autumn Winter 2014 show yesterday. Karl might champion the Diet Coke diet, but this season he created a supermarket fully stocked with not just food, but Chanel food. We're talking eau de Chanel and Jambon Cambon - who'd have guessed ham would be the must-have item of the week, eh?
As part of our Fashion Week 360 mission - bringing you all the insider action from fashion week - Grazia Daily was at the high-anticipated Chanel show and oh, what a show it was! As well as the groceries on display, there were shoe-boots on the catwalk, Rihanna and Keira Knightley on the front row and Cara Delevingne doing a jig with Karl for the finale.

We grabbed a chat with the man himself after the show. Speaking of his muse this season, Monsieur Lagerfeld explained, 'The Chanel girl is a girl who goes even in her Chanel clothes to the supermarket.' Naturallement! And if the designer has his way, similarly fabulous supermarkets will be popping up all over the world. 'I hope so because I think it is pretty chic, no?' Mais oui, Karl! But there is one item missing - where oh where is the food for his beloved cat? 'There is no cat food because Choupette only takes food she takes from her doctor,' Karl explained.
After the show, it was a veritible scrum fo the Chanel goodies. So what did the FROW-ers have their eye on? Leigh Lezark nabbed a bag of bon bons while Sophie Kennedy Clark was after a can of coffee (oh, okay, a bottle of whiskey). As for Vanessa Paadis, she was just happy to take home the clothes. Us too!

As well as a trolley dash, the fash-pack were enthalled by the traines on the catwalk - the collection featured only flats. 'They became sneaker boots - it is a new fashion item. The sneaker boot!' says Karl. You heard it here first.
