Chanel and Paris go together like moules and frites, toast and marmite, champagne and strawberries etc, so it should come as no surprise that the legendary brand has chosen the City of Light to house their first-ever spa. Major, right?
While most details are firmly under wraps, we're thrilled to tell you that this spa will arrive as part of the Ritz Hotel Paris's three-year renovation reveal and open at the end of the year to hotel guests and beauty lovers alike.
A unique and luxurious beauty destination, the 'Chanel Au Ritz Paris' will be wholly dedicated to the brand's fabulous skincare, offering treatments with the products themselves, while word on the beauty-vine suggests that The Ritz have also remodelled their basement pool - itself seeped in style history: It has been the site of many fashion shows for fashion houses including Versace!
Bearing in mind that Coco Chanel herself actually stayed at the Ritz for thirty-four years, and the iconic Chanel No5 bottle is supposedly based on the architecture of the building, the pairing of the brands is as historic as it is fitting.
Chanel will also be opening a new suite, based on the design and interior of Coco's original apartment of choice there, to which they told WWD “The story linking Chanel and the Ritz Paris would not be complete without the opening of a new Coco Chanel suite inspired by the one she originally occupied and by the decor she loved so much."
As if you need any more convincing to book yourself a Eurostar ticket! We’ll see you there…
