It's fair to say that in the blogging world, 2014 has been ALL about Zoella.

For those of you not familiar Zoella - real name Zoe Sugg- is a beauty and lifestyle video blogger who’s racked up over six million YouTube subscribers (yup, that’s more than Beyoncé), has won the Radio 1 Teen Awards for ‘Best British Vlogger’ (twice) and this year, signed a two-book deal with Penguin Books. Not bad for a 24 year old, eh?

Last night, we were invited along to the launch party of her latest achievement, her debut novel *Girl Online, *which is a fiction novel about a teen blogger whose anonymous blog is exposed.

After a couple of congratulatory speeches and a few words from Zoe the party kicked off. Surrounded by friends and family, which included blogging BFF Tanya Burr, Zoe chatted happily to her guests as they were pampered by hair stylists and nail artists.

“Since I could read I have always had my nose in a book” she said, “when I was around the age of 14 I had my mind set on the fact that I would one day write my own book.”

Clearly writing has always been a passion for Zoe after staring a blog in 2009 but had taken a back seat whilst she focused on producing video content and creating her own beauty line, which she also launched this year.

We can't wait to dig in and read our copy! After a year like this we can only wonder what's in store for Zoella’s empire in 2015.
