You might have woken up this Monday morning pining for summer, but Blake Lively is here as an ambassador for Autumn. For her baby shower Blake rounded up her nearest and dearest to head into the forest to wear plaid, eat cake and tie dye. October never looked this good.
Thanks to her brother Eric's [insert* Gossip Girl* fans freak out] photographs on her blog Preserve the shower is less party, more an advert for Autumn. Be warned you will have the sudden urge to go collect conkers and carve a pumpkin.

This shower was made for Pinterest, from the washing line of baby clothes to the children running with orange balloons to the three-tiered cake. The colour scheme is Autumn leaves, with apples as centre pieces and orange sky lanterns.
Blake writes on her blog: 'With a new baby on the way there is so much to do! But before experiencing the joy of 3am screams, seemingly impossible amounts of poop and having a favorite shirt covered in reflux… there are presents to open, onesies to dye, there is cake to serve, advice to be shared and all around celebration to be had.'

Blake is one savvy blogger - you can buy several of the decorations and pieces featured in the pictures on Preserve. Even the caterer's apron is up for grabs. Blake wore a Sam and Lavi floral blouse with a Charlotte Skirt ditsy blouse, with a chunky plaid coat - all shoppable (of course) on Preserve.
