Beyoncé is undoubtedly always on top when it comes to style. Be it on stage, at an awards ceremony or when she's busy coordinating with daughter Blue Ivy (talk about goals).
And our deeply (slightly obsessive) love for Beyoncé, first began in the late nineties when the singer fronted one of the world’s most powerful girl groups, Destiny’s Child.
After a hugely successful career with the girl band, Beyoncé focused upon her own musical debut as she released Dangerously In Love back in 2005.
The hype over her first solo album undeniably launched her career as she went on to release another five including this year’s highly-anticipated Lemonade. Having won 20 Grammies and claimed the title as the most nominated female singer in history, there is no denying her influential power.
And with over 19 years within the industry, Beyoncé has ventured outside of music too as she appeared in 2006's Golden Globe-nominated musical, Dreamgirls and launched her own fashion line, Ivy Park in collaboration with Topshop in April this year. And of course the singer became a mother to daughter Blue Ivy in 2012 and the pair quickly became the definition of mother/daughter goals.
And it's her sartorial genius that continues to inspire us.
From American flag inspired combats to white berets in her Destiny’s Child days to her rather epic on stage leotards, we chart Beyonce’s style evolution in the gallery below:
