How many times do you refresh the Zara app in an average day? Don't fib, we're fellow addicts here at Grazia. Is it more frequently than your Thursday quick-squeeze-your-zara-fix-into-your-lunch-break shopping slot?

And what about high street rival, Mango? Have you hit the magnificent sales yet? We somehow managed to empty our bank accounts in one fell swipe...

We don't know about you, but all these questions got us thinking. Spanish fashion is having a serious moment right now. Just look at Zara's sister brands, Stradivarius and Bershka. They're cool now, didn't you know? And then you have Uterqüe, the brand on every Insta-blogger's radar right now.

So forget the Scandis and look to the Spaniards for sartiorial inspiration this season with our edit of the best brands to shop now...

Sunad

Let us introduce you to the label that single-handedly made sustainability cool. The brand seeks inspiration from the natural world (Sunad is an anagram of 'dunes', after all) and each shirt is handcrafted in their hometown of Madrid.

The Aesthetic

The friends behind the brand count their mothers and grandmothers as their muses. Ana Marroquin and Paloma Canut told Grazia, the design duo create pieces for the 'woman that wasn’t scared to live life, that was inspired by many things, spoke their mind and were able to do all that while still looking great'. Expect shirts for lazing around in, holidaying in and looking great at work in. Phew.

The Price Tag

Quality and durability comes at a cost but it's certainly worth the investment. Expect good quality shirts designed to stand the test of time.

The brand collaborated with Danielle Romero from Flora and Form Studio for a one of a kind shirt with a '70s-inspired silhouette and watercolour print. A must buy.

Uterqüe

Sorry, Zara but we've fallen head over heels for non-identical twin Uterqüe this season. A major Inditex player, the fellow Spanish label is bound to prove a hit with the fash pack.

The Aesthetic

In one sentence? A more luxe, less trend-driven version of Zara. Oh, yeah and we forgot to add... We. Want. Everything.

The Price Tag

Now this is value for money. Yes, the price may have stepped up a notch in comparison to Zara but trust us when we say it's well worth it. Farewell, wages!

You need to check out their shoe line. Each and every shoe is handcrafted in Spain and they are utterly beautiful to behold. Think supple leather, velvet and satin juxtaposed against vivid colour palettes and Insta-worthy jewels. We have our eyes on these in particular...
