If you’re suffering from lockdown fashion fatigue, you’re not the only one. For those of us currently confined to our homes, our outside-world wardrobes have suddenly felt somewhat redundant. Will you make mortal enemies with your downstairs neighbour if you wear those platforms inside? Will that swimsuit make it out in time for summer? Do you even need all those handbags anymore? Still, that’s not to say you can’t find pieces that spark joy even now.
Here, the Grazia team reveals the fashion wins they’re turning to again and again during lockdown.

Grazia Fashion Team's Latest At-Home Buys
Kenya Hunt, Fashion Director - Simone Rocha, Tartan Slides, £237
I haven't bought any new clothes (I've mostly been shopping for the boys who are hitting near constant growth spurts) - but I have been digging out a lot of things that I've only worn once or twice in the past and wearing just for the pure enjoyment of it, like these tartan Simone slides I bought (two?) years ago. When I purchased them, I rarely wore them outdoors because it rained so much that year. But I've started wearing them around the house as slippers and have realised they are a joy-giving quarantine shoe.
Fenella Webb, Style Director - Cos, Drawstring Dress, £79
This COS dress has been my number one lockdown investment. It's just so easy to just pull on and lounge in. Proof that comfort and chic aren't necessarily mutually exclusive.
Laura Antonia Jordan, Fashion News and Features Director - Vaara, Tuxedo Legging, £140
I never thought I would see the day when I would wax lyrical about leggings, but here we are. My Vaara leggings have really been earning their keep during lockdown. I love the high-waist, ultra-flattering cut and well, duh, the comfort. They make me feel efficient even when I'm anything but. I've got two pairs, one for actual running (now a daily necessity, for my head as much as my butt); and an identical pair I change into when I get home for actual lounging, which I wear with a Ven cashmere hoodie, chunky socks and Birkenstocks. I've also bought a Bode jacket and Bottega Veneta bag for my post-lockdown wardrobe, I'm sure they'll go very nicely with my leggings.
Sophie Henderson, Shopping Editor - Arket, Belted Dress, £89
My lockdown look has mainly consisted of classic oversized shirt, leggings and a chunky sock. It's a style sandwich of comfort meets corporate, always accessorised with a gold hoop. I love Arket's striped style, which is comfy enough to wear all day, every day.
Hannah Banks-Walker, Digital Fashion and Beauty Editor - Ghost, Aletta Dress, £104.30
While I loved this dress before lockdown, I had no idea how important it would become in my daily life. It's oversized, which means it's as comfy as wearing pyjamas but makes me feel endlessly more glamorous, which has a crucial impact on my daily mindset. Having said which, it's not impractical or too fussy, meaning I can wear it to work from home all day and then just bung on some trainers and go for my daily walk in it. Now more than ever, I'm appreciating clothes that are fuss-free, that I can chuck on in the morning without even thinking, but still make me feel good.
Charlotte Pavitt, Fashion Assistant - Zara, Embroidered Midi Dress, £49.99
I had my eye on this breezy Zara dress pre-lockdown, but have finally placed an order for a much needed quarantine pick-me-up. This dress has everything – puff sleeves, ruffled midi-length hemlines and comes in a shirting material that makes it perfect for working from home and IRL office dressing come warmer months.
Lillian Sesiguzel, Digital Assistant - Get A Grip, Hair Scrunchie, DM to order
I've started buying scrunchies in fun and loud prints, to brighten up my day-to-day loungewear. Plus, the ones that I've purchased recently, a proportion of the profits are donated to charities supporting the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tim Brooks, Fashion Assistant - Weekday, Helmer Tranform Hoodie, £35
It's hard to narrow it down to just one thing – my clothes are my only friends at this point! Having said that, I recently bought a Weekday hoodie and it has dramatically elevated my loungewear game. It feels like more than just a hoodie because of the graphics and structure – so even when I feel comfy, I don't feel like a slob. Every little helps.
Chloe Medley, Casting and Bookings Assistant - & Other Stories, Sphere Ring, £17
I've worn my & Other Stories ring on repeat. I just find I take the day, and myself, more seriously when I wear my jewellery. I feel 'the part' and like my normal self with rings on, especially this chunky one.
