Few fashion shows have caused quite as much excitement in the past few seasons as the debut of Chemena Kamali, Chloé's creative director who decided that, for autumn/winter 2024, boho is most definitely back. Taking the house right back to its roots, Kamali made us all want to become Chloé girls (again), showcasing a parade of free-spirited dresses with cascading ruffles and sheer lace, all accessorised with knee-high boots, logo belts and the kind of insouciant attitude we've been trying to perfect since 2005.

Since the show at Paris Fashion Week in February, celebrity stylists have been fighting it out over the new Chloé collection, with Sienna Miller, the ultimate boho girl, leading the charge in a parade of boho dresses over the last few months (she was, of course, sitting on Chloé's front row back in Feb). Miller wore a white lace dress to the Met Gala this year, as she posed with her fellow Chloé girls, Zoe Saldana, Emma Mackey and Greta Gerwig, all accompanied by Kamali.

Daisy Edgar-Jones, meanwhile, wore several of the dresses during her press tour for Twisters, reminding us all of the allure of a ruffled mini for summer (and beyond). She was also the first to wear Chloé's Judith Clogs, already selling like hot cakes.

Most recently, Kamali made a ruffled pink gown for Suki Waterhouse to wear as she opened for Taylor Swift on the Eras tour, truly cementing boho dresses as the fashion power play of the moment. Unsurprisingly, many Chloé homages have already started to crop up on the high street, while online searches have been increasing for weeks now.

Of course, these often lightweight, loose-fitting dresses are perfect for the end of summer, which still looks to be promising fairly warm temperatures.
