From a Hollywood child star to landing a spot on Vogue’s best-dressed list, Ashley Olsen has grown up as one half of the world's most famous twins and developed a name for herself in the fashion industry.
Long gone are matchy-matchy days of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen; as the two young women have matured, their style has veered in completely different directions, leaving us with double the fashion inspiration! Yet while Ashley's signature look is more minimal than MK's both sisters are renowned for swamping their petite figures with oversized slouchy layers in muted tones teamed with bug-eye sunglasses and oversized handbags.
With so many sartorial notches on her belt, it’s no surprise that Ash co-founded couture label The Row, which bagged her a CDFA award for the top womenswear designer of the year as well as a contemporary collection Elizabeth and James. And luckily, as not all of us can afford a £39,000 rucksack the twins have recently branched out onto the high-street, creating StyleMint, with the aim of providing accessible fashion for everyone. YESSS!
The girls have also teamed up with TOMS, the ethical shoe brand, and provided their creative know-how to hipster sneaker label Superga.
Despite being the subject of many interviews, MK and Ashley's book Influence saw roles reversed as they quizzed some of the fashion industry's key players who they credit with shaping their style.
