A new season is always exciting but spring offers a renewed sense of hope and optimism unlike any other. This is particularly true when it comes to our wardrobes, as the promise of warmer weather and longer days mean that we can swap swathes of layers in favour of lighter, brighter pieces. This season, Anthropologie is the living proof of such a fact with three new exclusive collections that are just what the doctor ordered.
The first, Let Me Be, reinvents the very idea of wardrobe staples with beautiful embroidery and handcrafted beadwork elevating timeless silhouettes. There are dresses, skirts, trousers and tops – all of which are easy to wear but offer an effortless elegance to your outfits. Then, there is Othilia, a dreamy range of dresses and separates which are crafted with incredible attention to detail – there are artisanal prints, intricate lace and pintucked finishes.
The third collection is a collaboration with fashion designer Peter Som, which is an optimistic explosion of colour and print, drawing inspiration from the rugged beauty of Greece. A sense of wanderlust is woven through the collection, which is universally sized, providing us all with the sense of escape we so badly need – even if we can't go anywhere.
While all three collections may be beautiful to look at, they are also limited in supply, meaning that you'll need to be quick – given that Anthropologie's sizing is so inclusive (everything in these collections is available in a size 6-24) these clothes are sure to sell out quickly. Which would be bad news for your spring wardrobe.
