It's the show the industry and models alike count down the days to: Anthony Vaccarello. Beloved by models for his charisma and easy-going nature, (Anja Rubik, Karlie Kloss and Constance Jablonski are often spotted cosied up to him) Anthony scores big with the press for his covetable collections, and also with his supermodel pals season on season. Each time, he champions fresh, breezy Parisian beauty that wonderfully brings out the girls' natural features, and then puts his own quirky spin on it.
The Vacarello girl is modern and fun, but without any of the bells and whistles we often see at Fashion Week. That means no facial prosthetics, diamantes or other add-ons, and instead, radiant, happy complexions that speak volumes about the girls kale juice and yoga filled lifestyles. This season, Anthony's twist was a singular, angled line that folded back to make itself into a triangle. A little bit Bowie, a lot directional, this is a winningly simple look.
A slick of liner, softly sculpted cheekbones and handsome brows completed the look for something that's a foot in both camps. And of course, there's the model favourite - undone hair. Soft, barely there, slept-in waves framed each model's face with relaxed ease. With a nod to the push for a stand-out trend, but staying true to Anthony's ethos with the simple, fresh base, we reckon we could all try something like this at home. Push the boat out with a more graphic liner flick, and keep everything else pared-back and natural - it's time to channel your inner Karlie.
