We oohed and ahhed when we caught a -very grainy - glimpse of Anne Hathaway's wedding dress, but the paparazzi-style snaps were just not. eee. nuff. So how happy are we that, one month later, an actual proper photo of the blushing bride has emerged. Yippee!

Thanks to* US Vogue*, which the actress covers for the December issue, we can see Anne’s breathtaking Valentino gown in all its glory. Frothy, feminine and with a lace headband + veil, it's even more wonderfully whimsical than imagined - although not quite as pink as we'd orginally hoped. You can barely make out the pale touch of colour on the hemline, can you?

Speaking about the gown, Anne said: 'I begged [Valentino] during the first fitting to make the train detachable. He looked at me and said ‘But it is a dress, not a costume.’ The memory of creating it with him is something that I will treasure forever. He somehow read my mind and designed the dress that I’d always wanted.'

It was in October that Anne married her boyfriend of four years, Adam Shulman, on a private residence in California during a ceremony 'inspired by nature'. Legendary designer Valentino was the man behind the bride's off-the-shoulder dress, which was made of layers of silk chiffon and influenced by romantic, vintage creations.

So it seems Jessica Biel, or indeed Gwen Stefani, still hold the celebrity crown for pinkest ombre wedding dress. With this in mind, let's review our fave pink wedding dresses in the gallery above. Bride-spiration, anyone?
