Turns out Anna Wintour is an expert secret-keeper. Oh and she does have a brilliant sense of humour too.

It was the moment that stole the show in fashion land. After Zoolander & Hansel stormed the Valentino A/W’15 runway it was only a matter of time before their surprise appearance went viral. But as it turns out, this well kept secret had been in the pipelines for quite some time.

A source close to the designer duo has confirmed that the pair and Ben Stiller are practically BFF’s. But the best part is their genius plan has the ultimate wingman (or rather, woman) who had been sworn to secrecy to keep the gag under wraps; Anna Wintour! A source close to the designers describes; “She knew the whole time! All of Anna’s people knew about this and they have been totally sitting on it. They sat on it so well as no one had any idea.” What a secret squirrel!

Although it took Paris Fashion Week by surprise (along with the rest of the world) the collaboration was apparently a given.

Our source explains, “It was so Valentino. Both of the designers are so fun and free, and it was the perfect ending. The show was so dramatic, the music was dark, and the clothes were beautiful and then after the last girl walked out and the lights went down everyone got ready to leave. But then the lights went up again, everyone was confused and then those two walked out; you were just dying! They killed everyone!”

Anna also posted a pre-show pep talk video of Zoolander and Hansel backstage just before their fashion week debut – and then proceeded to take a selfie on a selfie stick. Classic! So Anna does have a sense of humour after all.

With Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne and Naomi Campbell already rumoured to be playing cameo roles in the movie, it looks like Zoolander 2 is going to be quite the sequel. We can’t wait! Fingers crossed Anna’s up for playing a staring role too. We hope so. February 2016 couldn’t come soon enough.
