Back in May the news broke that New York wonderkid Joseph Altuzarra is the latest designer to team up with Target for a bargain-tastic collection - which will be available for us Brits to buy via Net A Porter. Now we can see the entire collection, from the peasant blouses to orchid print blouses to snakeskin skirts.

Our friends over at *Refinery 29 *had the exclusive look at the collection which will hit stores on 14 September (add the date to your phones now people). It's a 70s twist on boardroom classics, with red velvet suits, snake print separates and peasant-sleeved smocks.

The designer said to* US Glamour* about the collection: "It's for a woman that wants to be desired." He added: "I used my considerable charms to get the slit skirts [in the collection] and get them not to be less slit [open]."*

This has all the elements of a cult high street collaboration, including the supermodel campaign star. Eva Herzigova starred in a Altuzarra x Target teaser video, which on Altuzarra's request features a voice over pronouncing his name as he was concerned no one will know how to pronounce it.

The collection has already made it's red carpet debut. Back in May at the CFDA Awards (you know, the one where Rihanna wore nothing but crystals), Noria Morales wore the black orchid-print sleeved maxi dress, with a plunging V neck and thigh high slit.

So who is Mr Altuzarra, you ask? The 31-year-old designer launched his own New-York based label back in 2008, after starting his career interning at Marc Jacobs and then working at Proenza Schouler. He them moved to Paris where he worked as Riccardo Tisci's assistant at Givenchy. When it comes to accolades, you could never accuse Altuzarra of underachieving with both a CFDA Award for his womenswear design and recognition of his talents within the business community. He also has a starry fan club, as Kate Bosworth, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicole Kidman have worn his designs on the red carpet.
