Alexa Chung Tweets A Retro Family Portrait: See The Star Before She Was Famous

Alexa Chung is a fan of a throwback instagram, and her latest retro snap is an old school family portrait entitled 'Chungs'. Mini Alexa cuddles up to her papa in a jazzy pair of patterned trousers and a mint tee. But this isn't the first time we have peeked into the Chung family album via instagram, as Alexa has tweeted childhood pictures of her and her brother Dom. We particularly love their matching grey sweatshirts.

Alexa Chung might be famous for her hipster school girl style, wearing dungarees, breton tees and ballet flats. But what did she look like as an actual child? Has she always been a fan of a peter pan collar? We delved into the photog archives to dig up some pictures of Alexa as a little cutey before she had her own it-bag, TV show, clothing line and phone book filled with famous pals.

We've even found an old school photo (unfortunately she keeps her mouth firmly shut so we can't see if she had a gappy, bracey smile), a picture of her at the riding stables and some early modelling shots. As for her style, we couldn't find any denim dungarees or breton tees but she is wearing a peter pan collar and a trendy denim jacket and has a similar fringe + shaggy crop. So it seems some of her style staples are in the Chung DNA.
