UPDATE 22.12.2013:
It didn't take long for the marvellous collaboration between Rita Ora's stylist, Kyle Devolle and new accessories designer Charlotte Simone to reach the upper echelons of fashiondom. Putting her official trend-making stamp of approval on the striped popiscle scarves is Alexa Chung.

She was spotted cosying up to one in London for Poppy Delevingne's hen do - it proved to be so snuggly that she even managed to brave bare legs on a cold winter's night. Making this statement piece the very epicentre of her look, Chungster proves the ethos of the label - that a well chosen accessory can hold a look together.
To celebrate the launch of this small-but-might collection, Charlotte Beecham (the girl behind the brand) threw a bash at The Box Boutique in London's Mayfair - where the collabo will be exclusively stocked. For faux fur options, visit Charlotte's site directly at CharlotteSimone.com

Young accessories designer Charlotte Beecham, 24, certainly has a superfan in London’s best-dressed lady, Rita Ora. The superstar and her equally super stylist, Mr Kyle De’Volle, 25, have supported Charlotte’s designer scarves since she launched her label – called Charlotte Simone - fresh out of univeristy in 2011. It was the Brit-based designer’s unique faux-trimmed hood that kicked the entire project into action; a piece that she created after finding inspiration while studying in Paris. The effortlessness of the women around her, and their ability to build outfits from a single accessory sparked her lightbulb moment. Rita’s a fan of the original hood, but she’s also been spotted in a newer addition, the colour poppin’ popsicle scarves, too. So it’s exciting news to hear that Kyle and Charlotte have joined forces to create the funnest accessory you’ll see all winter: a striped popsicle with a contrast tail in two different colourways which comes with, of course, Rita’s stylish seal of approval.

Kyle and Charlotte came to Grazia HQ to explain a bit more about the project and it turns out the whole process felt entirely natural and after a bit of work on the designs, the collection came together very quickly. ‘There was one piece, the hood, that Rita literally would never take off when she was on tour,’ says Kyle. While Charlotte agrees it was an inevitable process that allowed her to go a bit crazier on the concept than usual. ‘I’ll tend to play it safer, but I knew that bringing Kyle on board would mean we’d do something wilder,’ she explains.

The pieces are exclusively on Charlotte Simone’s website and with the uber-chic Box boutique on London’s Maddox Street. Considering the amount of interest and hype surrounding not only this collection but also Charlotte’s wares in general (she’s working like cray cray on re-orders), could this hook-up expand? ‘We haven’t even got that far!’ explained the duo. Well, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed!
