Aside from the fact that it's almost Friday, the general mood seems to be hovering between 6-9 on the fed up scale. Is it just us or is it getting harder to summon enthusiasm for the little things now that we're entering the eighth week of national lockdown? We all just want what's a tiny dot on the horizon - and, while you're at it, this roaring '20s that everyone's predicting - to hurry up and just materialise already. But while we wait, and this might sound like a self-care cliché, it's important to look after yourself, whether that means having a day bath or cooking crab mac and cheese (trust me, it's delicious) or going to bed at 9pm. The other thing is that, if so inclined, you could treat yourself to a little pick-me-up once in the while. Because while a pair of tangerine-coloured socks isn't going to magically make everything better, it can't hurt right?
