*Zoolander *- hands down the best fashion film that has ever been made. It's brilliant. I mean it features the immortal line; 'I'm pretty sure there's a lot more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking. And I plan on finding out what that is.'
In case you're a little unfamiliar with what we're talking about; the main guy Derek Zoolander (aka Ben Stiller) is a ridiculous male-model who gets caught up in an assassination plot. Oh and he does this hilair and OTT pose, 'Blue Steel' whenever he models - it's pretty much the defining feature of the whole film. I won't go on about it any more apart from to say that you should definitely watch it immediately if you haven't already.
So naturally for fashion week we decided that we wanted to ask models to do their best 'Blue Steel' face IRL, and when we went backstage at Ashley Williams and Marques' Almeida with MAC today we did just that because, if anyone could nail that solid pout and intense gaze, surely they could, right?
