Officially speaking, we’ve only just entered winter. The Met office says the 1st of December is the formal kick-off of the year’s coldest stretch. And, yet I feel like I’ve to spend the last few months shivering and wrestling with my wardrobe to find solutions. Generalising greatly here but, winter outfits are not chic. There is just so much fabric and so many layers. Add in that December is a difficult month to sartorially navigate as it’s choked with back-to-back events, big meals and icy cold temperatures and you’ve got a real conundrum on your hands.
