Yesterday Kayne showed his fifth collection in collaboration with Adidas, and it was like nothing he’s ever done before. The show was subtle, graceful and humble. It ran (nearly) on time (just 25 minutes late), there was no grandiose performance, and the focus was on the clothes. Presented in near darkness, models were the only things shrouded in light, and even then the press were given a closer look as their outfits were projected large on electronic screens. Is this a dawn of a new Yeezy era? Here are seven reasons we think so…

6. Kim Kardashian Dressed As The Aubergine Emoji

Unlike previous seasons where she's been draped in show-stopping Balmain, she wore head-to-toe mauve. From her lace-up shoes and sweatpants to her down coat, she looked like a walking-talking eggplant.

7. KimYe Proved Anna Wintour Is Putty In Their Hands

Kanye didn’t take a bow at the end of the show. Instead, Kim ran across the catwalk, pausing only for a second to pick up American Vogue editor Anna Wintour and beckon her backstage. Anna reportedly gleefully followed.
