Well this is exciting. H&M’s latest designers collaboration has been announced – and it’s with Alexander Wang (squeal). Fact fans will know that as well as heading up his own label (fans include Mary-Kate Olsen and Gwyneth) he also served as creative director of Balenciaga in 2012.
The designers announced the collaboration via his Instagram account last night, with a 15-second video that ended with the sign Wang x H&M, next to the timestamp 11.06 ,which pundits are speculating means the collection will hit stores on 6th November
'I am honoured to be a part of H&M's designer collaborations,' Wang said this morning. 'The work with their team is an exciting, fun process. They are very open to pushing boundaries and to set a platform for creativity. This will be a great way for a wider audience to experience elements of the Alexander Wang brand and lifestyle.'
The announcement coincides nicely with a joint event the designer hosted at Coachella last night at the same time as H&M’s annual invite-only bash, which we’ve…yeah, totally never received an invite for.
