You know when it's freezing cold outside – rain, wind etc – and you hurry into the nearest bar for shelter but you don't actually want a drink, you just want to warm up? Wouldn't it be wonderful if said bar just, I dunno, offered you a scarf instead trying to ply you with alcohol?
Well, walk your way into Burberry this autumn and you'll find one that does just that.
Presenting the launch of the Burberry Scarf Bar: a bar which serves customers Scottish-made scarves designed in classic, lightweight cashmere, all available to buy online or in-store at the brand's flagship shop on 121 Regents Street, London.
In an exciting new concept for the designers' winter outdoor range, Burberry customers will be able to craft their own scarf colour-scheme (choosing from more than 30 different colours) and then monogram them too – with up to three initials. Not only that, but a series of solid colour versions are also available in animal, camouflage and heart-print, so designs can be even more eye-catching.
Each scarf is woven on a traditional loom from mills in the Scottish towns of Elgin and Ayr, so top quality luxury is guaranteed.
Hmm... We weren't all that happy about the seasonal change earlier this week, but with the news of Burberry's 'keep-us-warm-all-winter' bar, we now say: 'Bring it on!'
